Called Canon. The printhead was easily moved to the left. I've tried many of the suggestions recommended on this forum, including cleaning the print head and other areas that I can reach and/or remove, and making sure the purge cleaning station I tried a test with 8 1/2 x11 paper and it appeared to feed just fine.This problem simply started out of the blue, with no apparent cause.
I was quite careful when i removed the paper and it came out easily. I turned the machine on and off, and the loud crunching sound was still there. Again, don't try hard.
I removed it and printer still had 6A00. Turn the power off (unplug it)and open up the unit to expose the printer ink cartridge holders. When I turn it on it makes a whirring noise, but there is no movement. Canon Printer Mp830 Error Code 6a00 I am not particularly happy with the product.

These machines produce great work; the only trouble is in my experience they hardly work. Canon Mp600 Error Code 6a00 printing is faint. I disconnected AC cord and reconnected, nothing. Could the problem be something to do with this?Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
Any suggestions on what else I might do? I cannot determine what the problem might be. Mp830 Error 5c10 I have not messed with the print head in any way. Canon Error 6a00 I used a pen tip popped both “sponges” out and rinsed them with water and voila they were once again white.

It can get stuck over at the station that cleans the wiper. Put it all back together and you are good to go.Some people have a difficult time getting the printhead out.
Any ideas?ThanksBrad by unknown on Jul 16, 2007 at 6:46pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Hi Brad, I too have experienced printers just hanging for seemingly no reason but I sprayed the underneath jet part of the head (not the contacts) with WD40 (all I had, made the 1st few sheets after a bit greasy but OK now) and gently Some where in the paper path a sensor is activated indicating paper jam so the printer will give off a 6A00 code. I used my pen tip and pushed that piece forward and found that the rectangular "sponge" had stuck out of its place.Whichever way it gets stuck, it seems this is an Closed the cover and it works!!! Depressed at the prospect, Persistent me, I searched again and found this thread. Pushed carriage to far left (should slide easily)4. After several attempts of turning it on and off this supposed wire has come completely loose. Tighten it again and no more problem.hooray -- good luckdc - unknown 1 I have a Pixma MP760 and it doesn't print.
Thanks. I have rebooted several times. i tried everything and then i looked at the yr website. I would recomend that everyone stays away from the pixmas!!!
