Wird geladen... Locate the small screw on the then exposed top right front -- loosen it about one turn and everything was back in working order. Try and move the white wiper blade and see if it is stuck. The advice is priceless, as after a minute or so I was able to push down that white thingy in the sponge thing on the right and the printer came back

Any ideas???? - unknown did you resolve this? Once you open the cover, the printer should move the carriage to the center to allow you to remove/replace ink carts.
Pull out power cord3. Was this perhaps the wiper mechanism, or at least part of it? Repeat step 4 with wet paper towel. Use a paper towel and press the suction pads down.
