I did a global replace on the file, replacing HKEY_Users\myname with HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ That made the lines in the file look like this: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SimonTatham\PuTTY\Sessions] I then had to save it as ANSI.
