Even tried my Sony phone with a cable and it wouldn't work. Go into Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings 2. Then you would waste even more time fiddling with your computer because of this stupid and (as usual) obscure M$ network fault! Lenovo are in denial that it exists.

I have tried many solutions to this and wasted countless hours.
