The I got frustrated with IIS and decided to try just copying all my web application files to the IIS server. Is it a fallacy, and if so which, to believe we are special because our existence on Earth seems improbable? Remove "PrecompiledApp.config", it will work. But it won't saying "the application is already precomiled." I would have expected the cs code change to update the Dlls or something.
The above error therefore implies that IIS is still trying to compile my precompiled site.Is there something that needs to be configured to stop the web application from doing this? Whenever I open the solution in Visual Studio, VS warns me that it is attempting to open a precompiled website and asks me if I want to continue.
